Rev. Luis Barrios from Pastors for Peace will talk about the Caravan and its role in opposing the immoral US blockade of Cuba. Father Barrios is a passionate advocate of the use of non-violent civil disobedience to challenge unjust laws and policies. In 2009 he spent several months in jail for his participation in a protest about training in torture methods at the US military’s “School of the Americas.”
